MEET JAMIE

Get my brain on your blended family.

I help Stepmoms, Dads, and Couples in blended families stop spinning out in resentment and start leading their homes with confidence, connection, and calm.

Whether you’re a stepmom who’s sick of feeling like a stranger in your own home, a dad caught between your partner and your kids, or a couple quietly wondering how much longer you can keep doing this…

This is your invitation to stop pretending you’re fine and start building something that actually feels good.

What I do isn’t one-size-fits-all.

It’s personal. It’s trauma-aware. It’s real-life tested—because I’ve walked this road myself.

You’re not just looking for a Therapist. You’re looking for someone who gets it.

Blended families are circumstances that don’t respond well to generic or vague advice, so I don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions. I’m going to be in the trenches with you armed with practical tools that actually work and a plan that’s tailored to your family.

Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and down-to-earth. I take your experience seriously while also challenging patterns that keep you stuck. Therapy with me is both supportive and practical—we focus on helping you feel more regulated, clear, and confident in how you move through difficult situations.

I’m comfortable talking about the hard stuff… resentment, guilt, parenting differences, money stress, power struggles, and sex. We can hold space for that hard stuff without pathologizing it, and I always make sure to include a little humor along the way, too.

IT COMES DOWN TO THIS…

I help people in blended families feel more peace at home, confidence in their role, and connection in their relationships.

Counseling can’t make other people change or put a stop to the hard seasons (those are a part of being in a stepfamily). It’s about understanding what’s been keeping you stuck, addressing it at the root, and getting the clarity and emotional capacity to move through challenges with more confidence and less reactivity.

When therapy is practical and personal, meaningful shifts don’t have to take forever. As you begin to feel more regulated and self-trusting, things start to change—not because you’re trying harder, but because you’re responding differently. Over time, the stress and pressure eases. In its place, you have more freedom to make choices that reflect your values, your limits, and the life you actually want to live.
